Danger, Will Robinson

In case you haven't noticed, thought I'd point out that I haven't been posting lately.  The reason:  time! Where does it go??? I can account for almost two weeks of May with company being here, but other than that, I'm not sure what happened.

I do however have a warning for everyone. As you know if you've ever commented, you are not required to decipher any special characters to prove that you're human and/or don't have bad intentions. Unfortunately, persons whose first language is not English have discovered that as well and are posting anonymously on my blog. They are choosing older posts, writing ridiculous comments and putting up a link for you to check. The Google spam blocker has been catching these messages and deleting them before they post, but if they don't, please DO NOT click on the link. As I said in the title of this blog..

Do you remember what that's from??

Little Things

I'm more of a "glass half-full" kind of person, willing to change my plans on a whim if it suits me and/or others. (Perhaps this is why my sister often calls me "Pollyanna"??) So when I discovered that the back of my current quilt looked like this... I was thrilled! Who'd have thought that a simple cc'd triangle with an alternating waterfill in the middle would make such a cool design on the back? I was just hoping to keep the quilting simple and yet offer some interest. I love when this happens!

The front of the quilt is a very simple pieced block with many different triangles, so simple quilting was important. I didn't want to overshadow the piecing.

The front's simple cc's in the triangles along with the water meander in two different directions accomplished what I had hoped for. I like how it turned out...on both sides!

Remember, if you'd like to see the quilting up close, just click on the picture.  Thanks for stopping by!
