OH, very cool, I love how you did that and how the finished quilting looks!
ReplyDeleteThanks, CF. I was really pleased with how the entire quilt looked when I took it off the frame. That design popped and was subtle all at once. Sometimes I amaze myself!! LOL -- Dory
Deletehow do you use the aqua doodler?
ReplyDeleteHi Kim! The Aqua Doodler is filled with water and then used to erase the blue water-erasable lines. It allows me to get rid of them without spraying my customer's quilt with water and potentially causing the fabric to run.
DeleteThe water pen is not foolproof. The blue often bleeds into the batt. In order to get it out the quilt needs to be submerged in water thus the chance of the fabric bleeding. Frixion pens are much easier. The lines are removed with heat. Sharon
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon, Frixion didn't work for me--it left a shadow. I do let my customers know when I use the blue pen and advise them to wash in cold water only the first time. No problems yet...knock on wood! Thanks for commenting! Dory
ReplyDeleteNeat - Id never seen the Aqua Doodler.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info
