Two Tools I Can't Live Without

Then erase the unnecessary lines:

    1. Thanks, CF. I was really pleased with how the entire quilt looked when I took it off the frame. That design popped and was subtle all at once. Sometimes I amaze myself!! LOL -- Dory

  2. how do you use the aqua doodler?

    1. Hi Kim! The Aqua Doodler is filled with water and then used to erase the blue water-erasable lines. It allows me to get rid of them without spraying my customer's quilt with water and potentially causing the fabric to run.

  3. The water pen is not foolproof. The blue often bleeds into the batt. In order to get it out the quilt needs to be submerged in water thus the chance of the fabric bleeding. Frixion pens are much easier. The lines are removed with heat. Sharon

  4. Hi Sharon, Frixion didn't work for me--it left a shadow. I do let my customers know when I use the blue pen and advise them to wash in cold water only the first time. No problems yet...knock on wood! Thanks for commenting! Dory
